4 months to follow a team in the preparation of the IMOCA 60 Educacion Sin Fronteras. This boat who came in the off shore sailing legend with Elen Mc Arthur is now under the hands of an other girl, Servane Escoffier (Fr) and a man, Albert Barguès (Esp), to run the first double handed off shore race around the world : The Barcelona World Race. The adventure start in Cowes, sailing mecca, at Offshore Challenges yard : Medina Yard. They will spend two month there to prep the boat until the Rolex Fastnet Race. ...
After this race, the boat will be convoy until Concarneau where she will share the same yard (Kairos) with an other boat who will participate to the race : Veolia with skippers Roland Jourdain and Jean Luc Nelias. Under the sun of this end of hot summer 2007, Educacion Sin Fronteras will finally take the way of the race with a last convoy until Barcelona. One month after, on the 11th of november, Servane and Albert cut the start line for 108 days, 18 hours, 55 minutes, 02 seconds at sea non stop by the 3 capes. They will finish 5th of this first BWR.
